Nymphaea ‘Tanglewood Blue’

Nymphaea ‘Tanglewood Blue’ is a J. Craig Presnell waterlily with violet blue petals and deep violet stamen. It has violet anthers with violet tips. It has hevily mottled pads. Young pads are almost arrow shaped like young nightbloomer pads but round out as they grow. It resembles Nymphaea ‘Woods Blue Goddess’ in flower but the pads make it a standout lily. It’s date of origin is 2003.
