Nymphaea odorata Aiton

Nymphaea odorata Aiton is a species, hardy waterlily.  It is native to Eastern North America, Mexico, the West Indies and Guianas. It is free flowering, usually producing two or more flowers at a time. The flower has a white outer petals that occassionally blush with pink and white inner petals, with yellow stamen and anthers and green pads. It is fairly free flowering once established. It must form a colony of rhizomes before it really blooms freely.
