Nymphaea ‘Morada Bay’

Nymphaea ‘Morada Bay’ is a tropical waterlily created by Florida Aquatic Nurseries of Florida in the USA. It is a deep rich purple flower with mature blooms having over 150 petals. It has richly mottled pads with multiple overlapping colors of burgundy over green.

It has the distinction of being a dual award winner.

It won Best New Tropical Waterlily and also Best New Waterlily Grand Champion in The 2015 3rd Annual IWC New Waterlily Contest held at the International Waterlily Collection in San Angelo.

It also received 2nd Place Tropical in the
IWGS New Waterlily Contest held at the Denver Botanic Gardens this year.
