Nymphaea ‘Kendall J. Hirai’

Nymphaea ‘Kendall J. Hirai’ is a tropical lily created by Garet Uemura. It was hybridized in 1998 (Nymphaea‘Mr. Martin E. Randig’ x Nymphaea ‘Ruby’). Bright rose-pink flower with approximately 16 broad petals. Leaves are speckled maroon on the top and mottled red below.  Leaf lobes overlap.  Moderately – slightly viviparous.

Named in honor of Kendall Hirai of Honolulu, Hawaii.
