Nymphaea ‘Darwin’ is a hardy waterlily. It was created by Latour-Marliac. It’s date of origin is 1909. It’s date of publication is 1910. It is described as red with white stripes and green pads.
There is a belief that Nymphaea ‘Darwin’ and Nymphaea ‘Hollandia’ are the same by some. This is incorrect. They are two distinct plants, very similar but distinguishable when grown side by side.
