Tropical Day Bloomers

New Prospects

Some Named & Some Unnamed

A few glimpses into the future...

Video of a new star lily. It is a dark pink/ red but it has blue toned edges on the petals. It is one of those plants you have to see to really appreciate.
It is much like a green smoke type in which the camera cannot capture what the human eye can perceive.

N. Pinkie Landon 2005 - Will be shown in display pools in 2008.

N. Pinkie is a new medium to large tropical day-blooming hybrid with large many petaled flowers averaging 8 to 10 inches across. Foliage is highly speckled maroon over green, single leaves averaging 12 inches in diameter.

N. Blue Boy Landon 2005 - Will be shown in display pools in 2008.

N. Blue Boy has the exact leaf and plant characteristics as N. Pinkie except flowers are a clear sky blue. Grown together the plants produce a unique striking colorful floral display.

New Anemone Type Waterlilies 2007 - Will be shown in display pools in 2008.

N. Ineta Ruth Landon 1990

This is not a new hybrid but it is noteworthy as it is the only yellow Star lily ( N. flavo-viren hybrid) in existance. Years in the making, the flowers open early and close late, a tribute to dedicated hybridization. N. Ineta Ruth produced by Kenneth Landon and named in honor of his mother.
