N. capensis var. zanzibariensis Caspary

 

N. capensis var. zanzibariensis Caspary is a species lily purple petals and green pads. It is a native of Zanzibar. It differs from the type N. capensis Thunberg principally in it's larger flowers. Seedlings show a lot of variation in flower size and color.
A choice seedling in blue resulted in N. capensis var zanzibariensis forma Azurea.
A choice seedling in pink resulted in N. capensis var zanzibariensis forma Rosea.
