Nymphaea ‘Virginia McLane’ is a tropical waterlily created by Florida Aquatic Nurseries. It’s date of origin is 2007. It was created from a cross between two unnamed hybrids.
This is the description from Florida Aquatic Nurseries… Nymphaea ‘Virginia McLane’ exhibits a very similar flower color to Nymphaea ‘Bulls Eye’ however the pads are quite different. The flower color is deep red in color. The pads are egg shaped and are somewhat similar is size and coloring to Nymphaea ‘William McLane’. They are heavily mottled maroon with various colors of green mixed in. This is a wounderful plant and sure to be a hit
