Nymphaea 'Rhapsody in White'
Nymphaea ‘Rhapsody in White’
Nymphaea ‘Rhapsody in White’. It is a hybrid star lily created by Ken Landon. Like all star lilies, it stands high and proud above the waterline. It also was created and thrives in our Texas heat. It is a pretty white with yellow stamen. It has very attractive chocolate colored pads and is very free flowering. In the pictures of the very large mass are three plants. There were more than 20 blooms each day. This represents at least 7 lilies per plant. It is a show stopping specimen. It’s parentage is Nymphaea ‘St. Louis Gold’ x Nymphaea flavovirens. It’s date of origin is 2003.
