N. 'Blue Cloud'

N. 'Blue Cloud' is a Ken Landon hybrid. It is a selected seedling of crosses of pre-selected seedlings of N. gigantea Hooker. It's date of origin is 2004. It's date of publication is 2006. It is significantly different than other giganteas in that it is a much larger flower, it has a lot of cold hardiness to it and it has double the typical gigantea petal count. It's description is a rich violet blue on outermost and intermediate whorls, inner whorl bluish white broad concave petals.

One of the most sought after Australian hybrids that is in existence.

This is a Ken Landon hybrid with color so deep and rich that it will knock you back.

This is not to be confused with N. immutablis as a few other international sites have erronneously suggested.

Below are pictures of a new seedling from Nymphaea 'Blue Cloud'. The plant is even more robust and larger than its parent. We do not know how big this one will get but it already seems considerably larger than it's mother.

We present Blue Cloud's seedling.
